Text Box: September Secretariat Minutes The Secretariat meeting was held September 24th at Freedom Church First Assembly in Tallahassee. The following is an account of motions and discussions. Reports and Discussions: Discussion of how to manage the needs of Candidates with physical limitations. Motion and second to not make it a requirement for the Head and Assistant Head to have served in chapel prior to being asked to serve in those positions. Chapel would still be required to be asked to serve as Rector. Unanimously passed. By-Laws will be amended. Motion, second, and unanimous approval to put a policy into place that all NFTD media devices be used exclusively for Tres Dias purposes only. Promotion of non-Tres Dias events will be prohibited. A disclaimer will be placed on the NFTD.org website and on any mailed newsletters. The Community is also reminded that use of any NFTD rosters is also limited exclusively for Tres Dias purposes as well. Discussion of sequestered team meetings as well as campground on the weekends. Discussion of holding a requested “special” women’s and men’s weekend for a group of pastors around the state and their spouses. Consensus was to encourage them to apply for fourth day weekends within their locations so as to mainstream the pastors with non-pastors and non-pastor-spouses, and to encourage involvement within their fourth day communities and reunion after the weekends All members of NFTD are invited to attend the Secretariat Meetings.
